A large-scale drone attack on Moscow and its surrounding areas resulted in casualties and significant structural damage, as reported by Russian authorities. The attack, which coincided with the final day of Russia’s parliamentary elections, left at least three people dead and caused substantial damage to an oil refinery in the region.
Russian emergency services responded swiftly, evacuating around 400 residents from a damaged 21-story apartment building in the Moscow region. This incident highlighted the growing intensity of Ukraine’s military strategy, which has increasingly relied on long-range drones and domestically produced weapons to target key infrastructure within Russia, particularly focusing on energy facilities.
