Arden Cho, widely recognized for her role as the voice of Rumi in Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” has tied the knot with orthopedic surgeon Christopher Lee in an elaborate, multi-day wedding in Florence, Italy. The ceremony was a private affair attended by close friends and family, who gathered to celebrate the couple’s union in a city that holds special meaning for them.
Their journey to matrimony began on a dating app, leading to an engagement during a trip to Maui in March 2025. Opting for Florence as their wedding destination was a sentimental choice, as the couple regards it as the place where they recognized each other as lifelong partners.
The wedding festivities beautifully combined Korean traditions with contemporary style. For the welcome events, both Arden and Christopher donned traditional Korean hanbok, setting the tone for a celebration that honored their heritage. The ceremony, held at the picturesque Villa Cora, saw Arden grace the aisle in a custom Vera Wang gown. In keeping with Korean customs, the couple also participated in a traditional pyebaek ceremony, paying homage to their cultural roots.
Despite facing several logistical challenges, including delayed luggage, travel disruptions for some family members, and a sweltering heatwave in Florence, the celebrations proceeded successfully. Cho, who has recently garnered acclaim for her role in “KPop Demon Hunters,” is also actively involved in producing the upcoming K-pop-themed psychological thriller “Perfect Girl.”
